• Service Providers: Third‑party vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., email delivery) under confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your Personal Data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data may be processed and stored in servers located in the United States. When transferring data internationally, we implement standard contractual clauses or other safeguards to ensure adequate protection.

• Profile Data: Retained until account deletion or 12 months of inactivity.

• Usage Data: Retained until account deletion.

• Crash Reports: Retained for 12 months, then purged.

• Device Info: Retained for 12 months, then purged.

• User-Generated Content: Retained until you delete it or your account; fully removed within 30 days of deletion.

12. Child Safety Standards 

At Catnnect, we are committed to protecting children and ensuring our platform remains a safe space for all users. In compliance with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards, we have implemented the following policies and safeguards: 

1. Age Restrictions

• Catnnect strictly prohibits use by individuals under the age of 18.

• To further protect minors, we have enabled Google Play’s restriction tools to:

  • Prevent declared minors from finding or downloading Catnnect.

  • Block in-app purchases (including new subscriptions or renewals) for declared minor accounts.

2. Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

• Zero Tolerance: Catnnect has zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including but not limited to:

  • Grooming or coercion of minors.

  • Sextortion or trafficking.

  • Any form of sexual communication with minors or material involving minors in sexual situations.

• Enforcement: Any accounts found engaging in CSAE-related activities will be permanently banned and reported to the appropriate authorities.

3. Reporting Mechanism (In-App)

• Users can report any violations or safety concerns directly within the app:

  • Navigate to the message page.

  • Tap on “Your Personal Assistant” to report concerns, including those related to child safety.

• Reports are reviewed promptly by our safety team and appropriate actions will be taken based on the severity of the issue.

4. Handling CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material)

• Catnnect does not allow any form of CSAM (photos, videos, generated imagery, etc.).

• Upon discovery or notification of CSAM, we will:

  • Immediately remove such content.

  • Cooperate with relevant law enforcement agencies.

  • Follow procedures outlined in applicable child protection laws.

5. Compliance with Child Safety Laws

• We comply with all applicable local and international laws concerning child protection.

• Our policies align with Tech Coalition’s best practices for combating online child sexual exploitation and abuse.

We continuously review and strengthen our standards to ensure a safer environment for all users. Your vigilance and feedback are essential to helping us uphold this mission.
